Etude Moisfull Collagen Deep Cream

First again (after my long break). Well.. Have two kids without nanny plus some jobs to do, it’s enough to make me crazy busy. #meh

So.. Back to this blog – omg, i’m so happy that i can write again!! :))) 

This is about Etude Moisfull Collagen Deep Cream.

Fyi, this is only the travel size, since i still have no idea how this product would work on my skin.. 

Why this product?

I was looking for night cream that suitable to my dry-combination skin and i found this. There are two variants of this Etude Moisfull Collagen, first is Etude Moisfull Collagen CREAM and second is Etude Moisfull Collagen DEEP CREAM. And why did finally i choose the deep cream is because my dry skin that would become more worst at night because of the air conditioner in my room. 

I use this cream alternately with Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. It can’t be compared tho, but overall i prefer Laneige because of thelighter texture and it can quickly absorbed into the skin.
So did in the morning, my face feels moist and light if i used Laneige Water Sleeping Mask at night. Whereas if i use Etude Moiseful Collagen Deep Cream, i feel like that oils still settle on my face.

After 2 months using this cream, i had nothing. Although the cream makes my face feels oily but it still dry. So i can say that i’m not satisfy with this product.

10 best Mac Lipstick

When someone asks me what the important thing for me in makeup, lipstick will always be my answer. Why?? Maybe you never imagine that lipstick can do many things and and it has quite important role in our daily lives. It can change the hue of our face just in a second, making sluggish faces re-energized, making dull face became bright with their charming color. 

There’s so many brand for lipstick and what’s my favorite?? Mac. I always love Mac. Not only for the lipstick but also for the other makeup product. But now let’s we just talk about lipstick. 

There’s no doubt that many people like Mac lipstick. It’s my favorite too. Why? Of course because of the colors and the quality. Besides it also worth with the price. I have problem with my lips because it always dry and always chapped everytime i use lipstick but it don’t happened when i use Mac. It can really moisture my lips although i don’t use lipbalm. 

And these are my 10 favorite colors from MAC Lipstick. 

1. Russian Red 

While some people are more know and like Ruby Woo, i actually prefer the Russian Red. What’s the different between these two? At first glance, Ruby Woo and Russian Red are rather similar. Both promise impacful, bold red lips and considered ‘classic’ colors not to be missed by any makeup enthusiast (including me 😁). But apparantely there are some difference of these products.. In term of color, Ruby Woo is slightly brighter and more cool toned than Russian Red, which swatches much deeper and richer, with a neutral undertone. In term of texture, Ruby Woo is a retro-matte (much dryer) and Russian Red is a normal matte finish.

2. Diva

Glamour and cool. I definitely love this color!! It’s an intense reddish-burgundy with matte finish, a medium-dark, warm-toned deepened red meets purple muted shade. I usually wear this to the party or for other special occassion. I pair it with simple eye makeup because it already has the bold color. 

3. Shy Girl

For daily activities, this one is my favorite!! It’s a neutral coral-beige with perfect cremesheen finish. The shade is similar with Velvet Teddy in the tube but Shy Girl leans more on the nude-coral spectrum. It’s realy great as everyday lipstick and looks best on fair to medium skin. 

4. Angel

Angel is a very soothing, pleasing and heavenly lipstick from the house of MAC. It’s perfect with a soft pink color that can make your lips looks elegant and beautiful. No question why it has been a best seller for quite awhile. Neither matte nor amplified cream, but this lovely lipstick gives a frost effect to your lips. 

5. Please Me

It’s a beautiful warm pink color. Muted-rosy-tinted-pink that can be worn with neutral eyes for a daytime look, or also you can pair it with a darker/brighter eye for more dramatic lip. Honestly i love this color but sadly it don’t really fit for me although it’s said that it’ll look best for everyone.

6. Kinda Sexy

If you are looking for a sexy pink shade, ‘Kinda Sexy’ is just perfect for you. It provides a natural pink rose shade with a smooth texture and matte finish. If you are making up your mind to change your signature lipstick shade, you can switch to this one. It’s a perfect and adorable lipstick.

7. Candy Yum Yum

This is the most loved pink lipstick from MAC. It’s a very candy-like bubbly and bright shade which provides a beautiful pink hue to the lips. If you are looking for a lipstick for a perfect day-out with friends, this lipstick is meant for you. It provides a neon pink shade which looks really adorable. I really really love this color but once again, my face doesn’t fit with pink lipstick, so sadly that i have to skip this one too. 

8. Viva Glam V

Another beautiful muted-rosy-pink color that is great for everyday. It’s fit for fair to medium skin and also can translate differently on every skin tone, making it your very own shade! In the Lustre formula, this shade is sheer with quite a bit of shimmer.

9. Velvet Teddy

MAC Velvet Teddy is described as a deep tone beige despite looking much darker and browner in tube. I’ve seen images of different bloggers and users of this shade online and observed that for those with more pigmented lips, they come out browner. For those with less pigmented lips (light pink), they register more as a pinky beige. I didn’t give so much attention for this color before until i saw it looks so perfect on Kylie Jenner’s lips and i said woww, i definitely have to buy this one!!

10. Taupe

First time i saw it, i think it’s brown. But then i saw another swatches and  also found the red shade in it. So i can say that Taupe is a reddish brown color in the tube. It is a perfect nude lip color for everyday wear or with heavy, smokey eyes.

Maybe now you really want to buy Mac Lipstick but still confuse about the color, well hopefully this review can give a little help.

Flawless with Cushion BB Cream

Couple months ago, i read an article from online newspaper about what that will be a makeup trend in 2015. Besides the bold eyebrow, the other thing is natural glowy skin as what we see in korean makeup style.

Now the question is how we can make our face looked glowy and natural?
According to what i’ve learned, many Korean people rely on the foundation to do the makeup. And they prefer to not wear powder over the foundation to make their skin looked more natural and flawless.

What kind of foundation they use? CC cream and BB cream still become favorite of Korean people than other foundation. And from there, we know about what that called as Cushion BB cream.

What is Cushion BB cream??
I didn’t know about that either before, but the only thing i know is this product also contains the  high SPF. I searched many information about it and found some pictures. I guessed it’s like a powder earlier because yes they have the same packaging. I also got some Korean makeup brand that release this product, such as Laneige, Etude, and Innisfree but Laneige has better reviews than the other two. So finally, i decided to buy this one. Apparantly it isn’t the same with powder. Even though they have the same packaging but when you open it, you will find something like sponge and the BB cream is inside the sponge. Can you imagine it??

Now how we should use it??
It’s simple. It’s the same with how we use pressed powder. By using the sponge applicator which provided by the product, press on to the bb cream sponge until the BB cream cling to the applicator then put in on your face gently.

My first impression after i tried to put it on my face, i felt my face became a little bit watery but it made my face looked glowy and flawless. But if you don’t like the glowy look, you can add  loose powder after the BB cream.

The other thing that made me like this product is because it can cover my black spots perfectly. I’m in 7 months pregnancy and my hormone is up and down, so i got some acnes on my face but this BB cream can hide them perfectly. I even don’t need to use concealer anymore. Amazing!!

The formula of Laneige cushion bb cream is very light. I don’t feel anything even though i put it quite a lot on my face. The sales boy that sell this product told me that it can long last until about 8 hours. I haven’t try it for that long, the longest time is only about 6 hours but he might be right. After 6 hours i cleaned my face with makeup remover and i still got the rest of the BB cream on my cotton. And the last important thing for me is this product doesn’t make me breakouts :))

The thing that i wanna say about this product is AMAZING!! Why? And why can i really love this?

Maybe this brand is quite unfamiliar for us who live in Indonesia but Nuxe is very popular line sold in France and available at nearly all pharmacies and beauty stores. Nuxe has many variant of skincare products and the Huile Prodigieuse is one of the most popular Nuxe product.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is amazing dry oil. It’s multi usage. As a dry oil, you can use it for your face, body, and hair. It will leave your face and body soft and velvety and your hair will become supple, glossy, and full of volume.

It has a super activated formula that combines vitamin E and 30% of 6 precious plant oils (borage, St. Johnswort, sweet almond, camellia, hazelnut, macadamia) with a sweet fragrance for velvety skin, silky hair and an improved overall aspect of  stretch marks.

The first time i found this dry oil is couple years ago when i still lived in Germany. I had some problems with my skin, my face was really dry and there were many red spots on my back. One day i read reviews about this product on the magazine and then i went to the beauty store to buy this. One week after i used it, my face was getting better. It looked moist and glowy without made me breakouts. The red spots on my back also vanished, slowly but sure.

Maybe the price is a bit expensive, but it’s a long-term investment and you also can get a good result. This product is Highly Recommended!!

Korean BB Cream & CC Cream

Still about the amazing BB cream and CC cream… This time i’ll not going to talk about US or UK brand but about Korean brand!!! So if you are a Korean lover, maybe you wanna know about this..

Lamoisturizertely, Korean Fever grow up so fast in my country. It’s seen by many Korean things, ranging from movies, music, cosmetics, tour, to restaurant that easily found in many place, especially  in the big cities like Jakarta. But i don’t wanna talk about all those things, i just wanna talk about the Korean cosmetics. Eventhough i’m not a Korean fan but i admit that their cosmetics products are one of the best.

Just like another brand from US or UK, Korean cosmetics also released the BB Cream and CC cream. The formulas of these products are basically the same with US or UK products but of course they are adjusting this product with Asian skin type.

BB Cream vs CC Cream, what’s different??

Well guys.. this is my first review for this blog ☺ actually i find many problem and difficulty by using WordPress because i never use it before but yeahh, i’ll try…

Couple years ago, everytime i went to department stores and stopped by at one of cosmetics booth, the sales would come to me and offered what they called as BB cream. But now, couple months ago, i went to department store to look around and when i stopped at one of cosmetics booth, the sales offered me another product that called as CC cream. I asked the sales girl, what the different between BB cream and CC cream and which one is better?? She started to explain about the product to me, but unfortunately, she just told me about the CC cream and explained about its usefulness without answered what the difference is..

The very simple thing that distinguish these two are their name. The initials BB in BB cream stand for Beauty Balm. This products are multitaskers : a non-brightening primer, light foundation, moisturizer, and sunscreen in one, with built in anti-aging properties. The initials CC in CC cream stand for Color  Corrective and contains a skin brightening primer, light foundation, moisturizer, sunscreen, anti-aging ingredients and sometimes collagen boosters. The BB Cream tends to be a bit heavier and better for dry skin with a focus on prevention and maintenance, while CC cream tends to be a tad lighter (so better for acne-prone skin) and focuses on concealing existing issues.
